In this video, I practice my read-aloud skills with Alma and How She Got Her Name, one of my favorite children's books! I wanted to share this experience because it demonstrates how I am currently applying the strategies and skills I will use in my future classroom. Book details: Title: âAlma and How She Got Her Nameâ Author/Illustrator: Juana Martinez-Neal Summary: Alma Sofia Esperanza José Pura Candela learns the story behind her long name.
