In this week's livestream, I addressed three common myths about teachers (from "50 Myths and Lies that Threaten America's Public Schools").
1) Myth #10: Teachers are well paid
2) Myth #11: Merit pay is a good way to increase the performance of teachers
3) Myth #14: subject-matter knowledge is the most important asset a teacher can possess
If you have any more questions/comments, please continue to post those as a response to this video. We still need to address these myths to promote change and respect for teachers.
Thanks for watching!
“What is the cost of lies? It’s not that we mistake them for the truth. The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all.” -- Valery Legasov
